I thrifted my necklace, earrings, boots and belt. I remember walking into different thrift stores, talking to the universe and asking for there to be a pair of cowboy boots in my size. What was thrifted in this look were my pink bracelet and my overalls. I thought this outfit was perfect for the hot weather while still being cute and just a little chic. I hope this inspires you to be creative with your own summer clothes.

I feel almost like I'm cheating when I have only one thrifted item. But alas, that's the way she goes. My jeans were the only thrifted item, while everything was bought first-hand. I realize that you can't even see my Kate Spade bag in these pictures. Ugh, I can be such a dummy sometimes.

Ipsy July 2015

So I got my Ipsy bag in the mail! I couldn't wait another second so I busted that baby open to check out the goodies. This month I got a library balm from Be A Bombshell in Ruby, a sample of Eau Thermalright Avène Cleanance Gel, Jor'el Parker perfume in Classico, an OFRA highlighter and shadow in Bliss and a Tarte  Amazonian clay waterproof bronzer in Park Ave Princess. Super excited about this month!

Reptar I Love You

Tank Top - Forever 21, Sunnies - Icing, Skirt - Fancy Ass, Belt and Sandals - (Missing Label)

Everything in this look other than my top and sunglasses were thrifted. 3/5 ain't bad. When I saw this tank top online, I NEEDED it. It was the nostalgia. I mean, who didn't like Rugrats? I initially picked up the skirt because it's the kind of thing I can't help but constantly go back to. The reason I bought it is different story. I have a very similar skirt to this one, which was my mother's way back in the day. The reason I couldn't continue in my life without this skirt was...because of the brand name on it. *sighs and hangs head in shame*

I realize my shoes weren't in these shots....we're going to keep it that way. My dress and bag were my items thrifted in this look. Ah, the infamous pleather jacket. She seems to co-star in most of my outfits and rightfully so! I bought this jacket nearly six years ago and I wear it all the time. The lining is falling to pieces but the shell is holding on strong and that in itself earns this jacket a place in my heart. Sometimes the least expected items turn out to be the best investments.
