Vidal Sassoon Review

It all started with my signing up for BzzAgent a few months ago.... So I got an email asking if I wanted to be part of a new campaign and I was like "Yes please!" So The product being tested was Vidal Sassoon's London Luxe hair dye. There were a few colours to choose from but I decided on Mulberry Street Blonde.

The box finally comes in the mail. So what do I do? Bust it open and dye my hair that very second. Nothing else matters. So let's look at the drastic and cuh-razy change!

Before

Just kidding, of course. Blonde is still blonde. I honestly just wanted to clean my colour up a little. Time for the review of the product! I was impressed! The box says PRO, but I assure you that novices are welcome! My hair is much less brassy and much more ashy, exactly what the bottle promised :) I only did the bleached parts of my hair but I did end up getting bit of my dark hair underneath dyed. No need to worry though because it only lightened my very dark a tad (to a lighter brown). I would definitely recommend this to others interested in saving money and doing this sort of thing at home. To anyone looking at this product, keep in mind that it can be a tad messy. I have short hair and I used just over a quarter of the mixture (and that was with saturating my hair to the max!). So all you long haired peeps, there's a decent amount in there! The gloves were also top notch quality. Lastly, I'd like to comment on the conditioner that comes with the product. Oh. My. Goodness. It smells so good!

Umbrella

Dress - (Missing Label), Boots - Banana Republic, Umbrella - Tracker

Cheesy title? Thought so.

I know I didn't say where I got my earrings because they were a gift from my aunt.
I thought they'd go really well with my owl umbrella :). Also, the only item thrifted in this look are my boots. I can tell you for sure I got my dress at Winners but I cut the tag out. Ugh...get it together Camille. That's all for now and until next time...

NYC Nail Polish Mini Review

I recently bought a few NYC nail polishes and I thought I'd do a mini review! In the first photo I've got three different polishes. From the left I've got Strip Me Off base coat (001), Prospect Park Bloom nail colour (200), and Grand Central Station top coat (202).

Ugh! The dreaded smudged nail! Of course I dramatized this, but that doesn't change that fact that it happens to the best of us. The best part of the base coat is that it does exactly what it says it'll do. You can easily peel the polish off in one go (which is great in a pinch).

I really like this colour and I feel like it would look good on the hands of many. It can be used for French manicures for sure or just as an all over nail colour. I really like the way these polishes feel on my nails because they don't feel super heavy. Even for cheap polishes (3 for $6 or something like that...) these are pretty decent. If you're someone who is bothered by the smell of nail polish, you'd be interested to know that the base coat doesn't have much of a smell. The colour has a much stronger smell, while the clear top coat is impossibly stronger. If you're bothered by the scent, I'd steer clear. That's all and until next time...
