Prom Song

Dress - Andrea Polizzi for Rex Lester (Holt Renfrew), Earrings - (I can't recall), Heels - Steve Madden

As you can guess this is from my prom, which was last Friday. Our theme was The Great Gatsby and I unintentionally went with the scene. The angular designs and colour scheme were on my side. My dress and shoes were thrifted (and yes I am wearing shoes, you just can't see them). The earrings I'm wearing were bought on my Europe trip in Rome, Italy.

It was too damn hot! We were all up around 10 a.m. and by 2:30 p.m. we still weren't ready! Ugh, don't even talk to me about getting ready! But it was an exceptional night. I thought I'd include some nice photos of my poodle hair before it got picked out. I totally thought I looked like Will Ferrell in Zoolander. That's all and until next time...

Girl

Dress - H&M, Sandals - Ardene, Earrings and Necklace Set - Ardene, Satchel - Paca's

Ah, I always love a minimalist look. This was a roll out of bed and go (I won't tell if you don't) kind of outfit. Though my hipster satchel has made an appearance previously, it is my only thrifted item in this look. I was so grateful to get these pictures because it started pouring rain - literally - when we stopped taking photos. I actually recall Lena Dunham wearing this exact dress in the first season of Girls. I suggest you go and watch it - brilliant show. That's all for now, so until next time...

Collar Full

Shirt - Bluenotes, Jeans - Urban Planet, Bag - Miniseri, Heels - Town Shoes, Belt - Kenneth Cole, Earrings - Urban Planet, Necklace - Magnolia, Sunglasses - Icing

The items thrifted in this look was my belt and my bag. My shoes (the main attraction) are a limited edition Barbie collection by Town Shoes. They've been sitting in my closet begging to be worn. Since I've gotten my hair cut I've been looking for new ways to wear it. I am quite fond of the flow. It has sort of a Miley Cyrus/ Brendon Urie vibe that I'm totally into. I'm trying a lip colour I recieved in my ipsy bag for May 2015, it's Failbait by Urban Decay and it's to die for! Be sure to check out my Instagram (savevogue)! Until next time...

If Love Is A Red Dress

Dress - Trends, Purse - Miniseri, Hat - DeLux, Sunnies - Urban Planet, Boots - Jessica, Necklace- Magnolia, Earrings - Claire's

My dress and purse from this outfit were thrifted. I was little surprised to find out my purse was from a French brand I'd never heard of. I truly love the exploration that comes from thrifting. I have a slight suspicion that the dress I'm wearing is older than me because it has shoulder pads the size of Jupiter. With that aside, I positively adore this look. I was running very late this day, so threw it all together and it worked out. Be sure to check out my brand new Instagram! I'm savevogue (obvs). Until next time....

Lost Generation

Vest - Northern Spirit Wear, Dress Shirt- Bluenotes, Jeans - Urban Planet, Boots - Rocket Dog, Necklace - Icing, Earrings - Claire's, Sunnies - Ardene, Bag - Paca's

It's been a while! I figured I should make an upload! My vest, boots and my bag were all thrifted. The vest was purchased in October at VV when they pull out their Halloween stock. The absolute best time to shop at Value Village is in Sept/Oct because they put all of their eclectic pieces on one rack. I've gotten a petticoat, my fisherman's vest, snakeskin pants, balloon pants and tons of other things on the Halloween rack. Sadly, I've never been able to track down Paca's as a brand online, so don't bother searching. I'm quite fond of my "hipster satchel" and I've been trying to incorporate more browns and neutrals as opposed to black -- which is quite a task for me. Anywho, enjoy the rest of your weekend!
